EppHaven House | Dont Miss....

Surfing at Polzeath and (if you want to size up to the real dudes!) Newquay is only 25 miles away.

Watersports at Rock. You can take sailing lessons here or take your own boat down. There is also a water-skiing school.

The Eden Project – only 35 mins from EppHaven. Eden is truly in Cornwall – this stunning environment will take your breath away. As well as being fascinating and awe-inspiring for adults, children absolutely adore it here – there is so much to do, take a whole day to do it justice. The food in the restaurants is absolutely wonderful – and so is the service. www.edenproject.com

The Minack Theatre – an extraordinary out-door theatre built into the cliffs and looking straight out to sea. 1 hr 15 mins from EppHaven, but well worth a visit. www.minack.com

St Ives – for the beautiful Tate Gallery and it’s café which serves delicious food and has breath-taking views. An hour away, but again, well worth the drive. www.tate.org.uk/stives

Port Isaac – During the summer season, go down on Thursday evenings to hear The Silver band playing in the villiage or friday evenings to hear The Fisherman’s Friends singing on The Platt. Go any time to enjoy the atmosphere of this unique fishing village.

St Endellion Music Festival - brings together a wide range of exciting musicians from all over the world for its summer and Easter festivals. www.endellion.org.uk

Eglos Pottery - on the Bodmin road just outside Wadebridge for exquiste ceramics made by Penny McBreen.

And finally... don't miss the pasties at Malcolm Barnecutt's bakery in Wadebridge! www.mbarnecutt.com
